Some news from the front.

I. SERPENT NOIR

The time is at hand! 2 samples from the upcoming SERPENT NOIR album are available here. The mastering was done by Devo at the Endarker Studio (MARDUK, OFERMOD, FUNERAL MIST, etc). The artwork, done by the renowned Timo Ketola, shall be revealed soon! This is the first SERPENT NOIR release to feature Belfagor of OFERMOD and NEFANDUS fame. Samples: http://soundcloud.com/daemon-worship/sets/serpent-noir/

II. THE ASCENDANT

THE ASCENDANT's debut EP will be unleashed in January 2012, Insha'Allah, through Daemon Worship Prod. "The Spiritual Death EP" gathers 13 minutes of Transcendental Black Metal composed and performed by Daniel (EXCESSUM) and Lars (MARDUK) with the aid of K.W. (AD HOMINEM) on vocals. Conceptually dealing with Transmutation and Spiritual Death, it is somewhat ironic that this EP was recorded already back in 2007 and only now, half a decade of semi-constant movement and transformation later, it is ready to manifest. Beware! Black Metal shall not be reborn this time either.

III. ISRATHOUM

Created beyond the threshold of consciousness and inspired by ancient teachings of the Infernal metaphysical Qlippothic regions, ISRATHOUM is the compendium of misanthropic conspiracy, cold forged in disused mineshafts as sharp-edged bottomless Black Metal... The invisible spear... An obscure and limitless supernatural barrier... A weapon to His Will. ISRATHOUM was formed in Portugal in 1992 by the initial trio of Arvath, Arluth Dhu and VxInfr. During the next several years the band continues to evolve and shape, until finally assuming its current moniker in 1998, which also coincides with the band's relocation to the Netherlands. In 2001 ISRATHOUM releases "Hatred (demo)" and, one year later, "The Art Of Malice" MCD sees the light of day. In 2004 "Black Scenery Avatar" is released. Several years later W.uR joins on guitars and with his help the band records "Monument Of Brimstone", which eventually brings a contract with Spinefarm and the worldwide release of the album takes place in 2009. But, as the time passes things change, so the band decides to move on and seek new opportunities to spread its poison. And so, in 2011 ISRATHOUM inks a deal with Daemon Worship Productions for their second full-length album, entitled "Black Poison and Shared Wounds". With its line-up reduced to a trio of Arvath, W.uR and VxInfr, the band is stronger than ever! At different points of their career sharing the stage with such entities as MARDUK, SECRETS OF THE MOON, HELHEIM, SOLSTAFIR, CODE, ZEMIAL, ALTAR OF PLAGUES and DESASTER, and featuring members of such bands as PERDITOR and AB IMO PECTORE among others, ISRATHOUM is prepared to take the world by force!

IV. LASHBLOOD / DEATHMOOR

We are also proud to announce, that the upcoming albums of LASHBLOOD and DEATHMOOR, two Russian bands from Stavropol Nekrodivizion, are soon to be released by Daemon Worship Productions under its VIRUS series. Thematically crossing their paths and linked, the two albums offer different takes on the decay and downfall of the modern society.

LASHBLOOD, influenced by the likes of Sartre and Burgess, dives into the grey, nauseous apathy of the urban socium. Offering a bit of an avantgarde approach to the genre, the band freely utilizes saxophone and clean, sorrowful vocals, which reach the apotheosis on "Gospel Of Death". All this routine, this meaningless emptiness of the ever-repeating cycles.... It lives within all of us and drags us deeper and deeper through the helix of the mundane existence. Verily, it is Death reaching for us from beyond the veil of illusion, can you see her bony hand? "Philosophy Of Self-Flagellation: Being and Nothing" is scheduled to be released in February 2012. Sample: http://soundcloud.com/daemon-worship/lashblood-gospel-of-death

DEATHMOOR's "Opus Morte III" takes us into yet different regions of madness. Fully improvised in a studio under the constant influence of alcohol and drugs, its tempo variates between the full-speed assault and slow melancholy of the fall. Imagine yourself lost in a rainy forest on a cold autumn night.... The forest could as well be a stone forest of a big, unwelcoming city. You are lost and there is no way out of here.... Endless hostility of the dim, serpentine streets. The city indifferently witnesses your struggle, knowing that there is no chance for anyone to escape the cold claws of desolation. There is no way out. "Opus Morte III" is scheduled to be released in February 2012. Sample: http://soundcloud.com/daemon-worship/deathmoor-i

And you've got a reply ;)

The Ascendant vinyls are here already, I am waiting for the covers - apparently the factory I was planning to use couldn't do an extra layer of silver pantone, so another place is handling them now.

Here's the cover art for the SERPENT NOIR full-length. Executed by the ever-brilliant Timo Ketola. Several more arts are planned for the booklet, so the layout is still in works.

About DEATHMOOR - just let their music speak for itself.
