No, it won't. Around November you will have another re-recorded compilation, this time of "Hvis Lyset" and "Filosofem"-songs. He admitted so much in one interview recently. |
Seriously!!??? Jesus fucking Christ... Got a link to that interview? I mean, I believe you, but I'd like to read the whole thing. |
I am sure it is up there @ burzum.org; it was one of the interviews he gave for "Fallen" as far as I remember. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Someone please come up with some photoshopped pictures...!
However, I couldn't tell who's gonna win... Darken fights with sword whereas Varg uses the spear, so the latter got all the advantage unless Darken manages to do close combat. Hmm... let's have a Black Metal RPG someday. |
An easy one for Varg:

| What an unlistenable mess this album is. It really does sound like a ridiculous 'Hörspiel' with a throw-away Fallen riff tape playing in the background. |

No offense, but I don't buy it.
Classical composers improve with age, and even guys like Brian Eno keep making music that's arguably better than their early years.
Why is it that only bands touched with the manic youth-culture of rock music can't function past age 28? |
Definitely agreed, especially on the Eno point. 'Another Day on Earth' stands amongst his best works from the 70s/80s, if you ask me. But, I will agree with DTB that I'll remain interested in Burzum - reading and listening to everything he puts out, regardless of his latest shitpiece. |

There's a huge difference between classical composers and rock/metal, including how to pull all the strings together of making a whole piece. Bad analogy.
I actually think this new album is pretty decent. I thought I'd withhold my judgments after reading the descriptions of how it sounds, clearly it's not the old material, but the style works well to accompany a soundtrack to his new shit book. _________________ + EXITIVM PRODVCTIONS +

| After 4 or 5 listening, I can tell that Blóđstokkinn, Jóln and Hit helga Tré are completely awesome songs and perhaps better than anything he recorded after his jail time. On the other hands, songs like Alfadanz are seriously boring and lame. And as I stated before, the production is better than on Belus or Fallen. Maybe he should have waited 2012 to release only one really good album (there are obvious fillers on the last 3). |

He's not making comparisons to the compositions or manner of composing, but to the possibility of artists improving with age. It just so happens that there's a history of classical composers improving with age, as well as some non-classical composers (like Eno) who do so as well. It's really not a bad analogy, in my opinion.
And don't forget, Fallen was mixed like classical music! |

Jóln is indeed a great fucking track. I wasn't too happy about the vocals at first, but they've grown on me - and the riffs are top notch. |

At least it's better than "Fallen" (a really fitting name for that album, btw). _________________ Tradelist |

| This album is classy, way better than the previous two ones, still considering Fallen a good record. |

Whoever thinks this is a good album, even better than his last two previous ones, need to consult with an otologist urgently. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

| Take your time and you will understand. Umskiptar is better than Belus and Fallen taken together. |

I'm sorry but I can't; I have no problem with long and repetitive songs if they manage to induce some sort of trance-like state of mind, but the songs on this album are just being dragged out like overused chewing gum and all they induce is boredom and dizziness. _________________ Solitary Elitism:
