| Will always lend an ear to whatever Burzum puts out. Gladly one doesn't have to blind-buy CDs from mailorder catalogues anymore these days. It'll be interesting to see what comes after Fallen. |

Best thing Varg did was play on a Mayhem album. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Or just free much time and resources to record.
One must remember that he recorded selftitled, Aske, Det som engang var, Hvis lyset tar oss and Filosofem in less than 1,5 years during 1992-1993. _________________ Mors fennico more |

he likely has many ideas built that he needs to get out of his system after spending that much time in prison to contemplate. I must also be one of the very few that finds some enjoyment from the depths of darkness release. of course they do not match the originals, but they sound like decent covers anyhow _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

They're definitely the best Burzum covers around. |

Raw production was the key element of old BM after all. Now it just sounds too clean. So yes there are the Varg-riffs that we love but the whole stuff is fucked-up by the production imo. If I complain that much, it's just because his early work is among the best things I ever heard. |
Ha, you're not one of those rehearsal-sound wankers, are you? I think that his last releases sound more raw than what 99% of BM bands do today. 'Belus' and 'Falen' were not that far from 'Hvis Lyset Tar Oss' standards, if we remember that it's no longer 1992 of course. And that people, artists included, change, more or less, but they do change. Is it that difficult to grow up along with our favourites artists? _________________ A good hippie is a dead hippie |

| I'll give him credit. He is, if nothing else, prolific. |

| The only thing wrong with newer Burzum's production is the overuse of really heavy compression in the mix. |
