IT'S MY LABEL, Y'ALL. Some of you may be into the stuff I'm releasing.

Started in August 2011 to release works of suffering, expressions of pain and sick shit in general. I've mostly been working with bands from Texas since the start, although I am extending my support to friends in Canada very soon. Looking for some more non-shitty bands in Texas to work with Wink

My first music release was...

M/SI-01 Botfly- Enemies of the World Cassette EP
-Botfly is a band I've supported since day one, truly one of the most under appreciated hardcore bands from Texas. The order of the day here was metallic hardcore in the vein of bands such as Integrity, Ringworm, Pale Creation with an added dose of the downtrodden doominess of Crowbar. The recordings were made last summer and were intended to be released in time for halloween, however, it only surfaced in time for the band's last few shows. They called it quits earlier this month...

Coming next I have:

M/SI-02 : Sigil (Canada) - Primal Void Cassette EP
-This is a band I've actually been following since 2010. I have the great honor of finally releasing this recording for them. In my opinion, they have something really unique going on. The greatest elements of hardcore and metal are both present in this short recording. There isn't a genre tag that could accurately describe their sound without pissing people off, so I ask that you please look to their band camp site to inform your opinion. The whole EP is streaming there.

M/SI-03 : Esclavo (TX) - Enslaved Cassette EP
-Esclavo is one of the most crvshing bands in Texas, hands down. I'm thrilled that they decided to work with me to release their recordings as well. It's a similar story to Sigil. Everything was recorded almost 2 years ago, but has not been released til now. They play HEAVY music akin to bands like Noothgrush, Dystopia, Corrupted, Brainoil, among other extreme doom and hardcore bands. I saw them play, Saturday night, and they are just as amazing live as they are recorded, if not more so. They do not have a band camp, though they have sample songs uploaded to their blog, which you can find here.

Both Sigil and Esclavo have gone to the plant already and will be available the first or second week of March, I may have shirts and pins made by one or both bands made available by then as well...

I've been talking with my friends in Tentacles, trying to see if they'll let me release their forthcoming album on cd or tape. It's still in the mixing stage, so there's plenty of time to see if they'll let me release it. There's a couple more bands in San Antonio that I've got my eyes on, nothing concrete right now. That's why I put "looking for more non-shitty bands in Texas to work with" at the beginning Wink
