Thanks CR99 and Inverto Crosso for those bits of information, very helpful indeed!

Inverto Crosso, I take it you were involved back in the day or know the band..?

I wasn't in personal contact with the band but I have an original copy of the demo. PM if you'd like to have some pics.

What would be the verdict on this one? Seller is from France.

I feel so stupid now! Bought these from a dude on Discogs/NWN! who has had some distro maybe so I thought I could trust him. Paid thru Paypal as a friend (big mistake?!)

photos of mine:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B46E3clDraizZEI0aEZ6SGowYUE?usp=sharing

vs

Wintermoon - Reh. demo 1995 https://www.discogs.com/Wintermoon-Reh-Demo-11995/release/3886222
Kyprian's Circle - Käärmeenkantaja demo 1997 https://www.discogs.com/Kyprians-Circle-K%C3%A4%C3%A4rmeenkantaja-Demo-97/release/4308366 http://www.demoarchives.com/Bands/Kyprians%20Circle-Fin/K3T.jpg
Kyprian's Circle - In The Mystique Of The Moonbeams https://www.discogs.com/Kyprians-Circle-In-The-Mystique-Of-The-Moonbeams/release/5022237
Dismal Euphony - Spellbound demo 1995 https://www.discogs.com/Dismal-Euphony-Spellbound-Demo-95/release/3061079 http://www.demoarchives.com/Bands/Dismal%20Euphony-Nor/d1.jpg

Can anyone tell how their copies look like?

Comparing mine with the photos I found on the Internet (no image of Wintermoon online) - mine look completely fake!
3 of the 4 come on the same modern, mint, white cassette with screws. Tapes and cases shine like new, papers have no creases or sign of age / use. Originals have fat looking tapes (look around the corners).
Only Wintermoon tape looks old type.. but condition is like new! These all are so mint they surely can't be of age. Also scans hint a bit that they are not original (some details are missing or different quality because of scan/copy).

EDIT:

Seller claims they are 100% original.

"Yes I am easly say that they are %100 original.

I even don't remember if they look old or not but they are in my garage more than 15 years maybe. All I can say I have kept them so well. (...)

Specially the Dismal Euphony tape, I got them from the band many years back. Ole was the name of the guy as I remember. This is all I can remember about the tape. K.C... Trust me I don't remember anything about it but I used to make many orders from the No Colours Records since it has been active so probably I got it from there but no clear record of it."

and

"(...) have changed the cassette tape boxes cause they were totally crap. Waiting in a dead airless area made them degenerated."

I can't help you with the authenticity of these tapes but I can tell you that I own some very old demos that look like new, because barely were they listened to. Then, and here I can make you an example, the white cassette of my Dark Tranquillity demo is still so white, some white cassettes keep their original white color while other white cassettes get yellow over the years, I suspect they were made with a different kind of plastic, but I don't know for sure.
By the way, did you ask the seller for some pics before making the purchase?
I would never buy anything without proper pics of the item I am interested in, I have been looking for some cd's but it seems to me that on discogs sellers are too lazy to email photos, for some reason, so I always buy cd's on ebay. Discogs is a very good platform but most sellers on it suck

"but I used to make many orders from the No Colours Records"

Well that's one key factor there. No Colours used to make copies of demos by themselves.

Yeah, I asked for photos. They looked allright but did not show all the details. I also checked his discogs rating which was 100% it seems he had had multiple accounts. Little birds tell me that this isnt his first case of "fake" tapes...

Never buy "authentical" demos with xeroxed covers. 99% of these are boots

It all depends who you are buying them from. I doubt a member of an old band would sell fake stuff unless he got that possible copy back in those days. Some years ago I got a few titles from a Swedish guy who used to be in an important band and you can tell everything is the real deal. But in the end I mostly agree with you even if I would just say to pay lots of attention when buying those DIY demos.

I need someone's opinions: is this a bootleg-tape?
https://www.discogs.com/Burzum-The-Wave-Of-Darkness/release/10174748
I don't think this was an official release, but if someone have more infos about, would be much appreciated

100% bootleg tape made by the infamous greek guy 'vinylterror' some years ago. He's also the one who listed it in discogs and tries to sell it. He names himself there 'apanthropology'. Avoid him and his stuff!! All are cheaply made fake tapes/boots!!

He even uses brand new tapes to make this, judging from the picture.
Tapeline started to use those shells back in 2013 I believe. Used them for a couple of releases myself...

Yeah I'm on the same boat with you.

Bought the two Osgiliath demos from him that I've been looking for ages. Alarm bells started to ring when he didn't remove the tapes from his lists (which he constantly upped) and also kept selling the same tapes through discogs.

But I had the shipping confirmation so I just kept silent and waited for tapes to arrive. And then...

Probably the worst quality fakes I've received in a long time. Tapes were brand new white ones like yours, but the artworks were the real butchery. New, xeroxed miscut pieces of paper that didn't even contain all the pages of the booklets (which can easily be found online). The other cover was probably just taken from a screenshot of some youtube-video because it was cropped in a shape more like a square than a rectangle of a tape cover. It didn't fit inside the case and of course looked just plain nasty.

For me he told that "he really thought that they were originals" and if I'm telling they're not I should go and find for him pics of the originals so he could see them himself.

I paypal-claimed, he disputed telling he wants his tapes back. So good like for the next one who falls in the traps of his 100% positive discogs-rating. All this time he's been selling the same tapes on discogs, just stopped upping his sale-list on this forum.
