I sure as fuck do not. I didnt even know mayhem fans existed that preferred maniac to atilla. But I was posting on another board where someone was flaming away at atilla and come out and said it. Apparently atilla put on a shitty performance at WOA. I said that is what they get for going to that wanker of a fest.......Still I am wondering does anyone else like maniac better than atilla? _________________ People I want to kill: Russell Brand....fucking annoying. |

| Like both of them as vocalists, but Atilla the better. |

Attila performed badly at Wacken? Seems hard to believe. Maybe just a bad mix or was ill?
I rate his performance on Ordo Ad Chao as one of the best i've heard. Awesome. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

I like both. And I can't imagine Attila on Grand Declaration, like I can't imagine Maniac on OaC _________________ Sale list (Burzum, DTL, Sunn O))), Darkthrone, Abruptum, Windir, Hellfest, Shining, Fissur, ...) : http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=710004#710004

True story: when I first got into black metal I found Attilas vocals on DMDS too "shreiky" for my tastes - I knew it was an essential black metal record, but I just wasn't down, and I traded it away..... Deathcrush and Live in Lipzeig were the only ones I really liked.......
Flash forward - I've definitely come around. It clicked with me a few years ago finally and I have revised my opinion oof it. I've still never heard anything beyond DMDS, but I like Deathcrush, Live in Lipzeig and DMDS equally - all great records in my mind.

Yeah i really enjoy it. Though it seems to get bashed almost everywhere. I love the Khanate vibe on there. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Can't stand Maniac's screech. It sounds like someone hitting a baby with a cat.
I do like his spoken word narration on GDoW, though. |
