Somewhat inspired by the thread about the thread regarding a black metal version of Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy the Silence', just wondering if anyone can think of others?

Warhead - You Really Got Me (The Kinks)
Corpus Christii - Clean (Depeche Mode)
Frail - Something Must Break tape

There's one on the back of my mind I can't remember right now, I'll mention it when it comes back, but those are ones that come to mind right now anyway.

Also not quite popular music but also there's Nachtmystium's version of 'Rose Clouds of Holocaust' by Death in June too.

The Meads Of Asphodel - What A Wondeful World

almost ruins the entire album, totally uncreative and not necessary.
