I think the yellow/red logo fits the artwork. It looks good.

Yosuke, the myspace link is on the first post. Check it out... but I think they're only clips of what's coming....

I like the rough recording quality of this. I don't think I would like this if it wasn't for the rough sound.

I agree with you Yosuke... I like it for the roughness as well and it's funny because a lot of people don't like it because it's not some super duper polished heavy metal that comes out on a lot of labels.

I prefer raw/rough production to clean. Most of the 80's bands I like had this approach back then....

I just tried to fix it to make it sound like it was all one band in one recording session and I think it turned out great apart from one song that didn't turn out 100% the way I wanted... Also when remastering/fixing I like to focus more on eq and giving the album punch than actually polishing the sound.

Rough sound is most fitting for this type of heavy metal becaus otherwise it would sound too sugar coated. You can't get better than garage level heavy metal recordings from the 80's. I think I'll go spin my Mercy "swedish metal" MLP right now.

No doubt! I can't think of too many straight up 80's style HEAVY METAL bands from the 90's that can top VAMPIRES....

If anyone's into DVDs and you dig this album, there's a DVD out now that was released by the band (not me)... Thanks again.

Yeah, just think about SATAN'S HOST's "Metal From Hell" or "Midnight Wind" albums, as well as JAG PANZER's "Ample Destruction" having a clean and nice sound! It would simply ruin the whole atmosphere and purpose of those records! Twisted Evil

Good examples there! Even old SLAYER... fuck those old albums kill because of that rawness..

satan's host albums were not meant to sound like that. It was the production, not exactly that the bands was looking for that kind of sound
