Definitely. IVth Crusade and For Victory are both great. Warmaster very close. Then they blew it by even later in their career churning out the hard rock.

For Victory is definitely my favorite... but I can't see how that album or the one before it can be considered "late in their career"..... they still put out albums for another decade. Those albums are firmly in the middle of their discography.

Bolt Thrower is the first band that came to mind. Maybe more consistent than anything else, but I think that "Those Once Loyal" stands against anything else in their discography.

I'm siding with Inquisition getting better with each progressive album.

Deathspell Omega. I'm one of those guys who like SMRC way better than anything they did before it. Not that the earlier albums are bad, just not as good in my opinion.

They have done one full-length and few smaller releases, which do you think is the best album done in their later career?

They formed in 2003 and put out Seven Chalices in 2009. I'd say 6 years is pretty far into your career as a band, considering some don't even last half as long.

Another totally fitting band for this. Their new one kicks a bunch of ass as well.

I'll go on and add At the Gates to my list.

Deceased "Fearless" is in the first half of their career whether you're counting albums OR years. And did someone really say In Solitude? It seems like almost every thread lately turns into "name bands you like".
