You should also make clear, whether you mean the actual songs, or simply the album that's called LTTN. I'm refering to the fact, that the very first pressing of those songs came out in a plain white (private press) sleeve, the first ones even being signed by the bandmembers. The band sold those via their own mailorder and by placing ads in the musicpapers of the day. From what I recall, it was one of those earlier pressings, which made Lars Ulrich go to the UK and visit the band, attending shows, rehearsals etc. Later on the same songs became "officially" the "Lightning To The Nations" album with a proper cover. So I'm not 100 % sure, whether you can track down any pressing units for that one. Nonetheless there was a GREAT CD reissue done by "High Voltage" a couple of years ago, adding some great 7" + 12" bonus tracks to it! Lastly I don't grow tired of praising LTTN as one of THE crown jewels of the whole NWOBHM, or Metal in general, it's THAT good!!

What a stone cold classic this is, but as this is the only DH album I ever heard I wonder if their other output is worth persuing?

You should try getting ahold of the "Canterbury" LP at least. Very underrated
album.

Canterbury sucks imo. Pay no more than 10 Euro.

LTTN is my favorite album ever. There are 4 vinyl pressings that I know about.

1 - self-pressed, white labels, most sleeves autographed
2 - self-pressed, printed labels, fewer sleeves autographed
3 - Woolfe Records (ger) version, first time it had the album title, "burning map" cover
4 - Earmark Records version from a couple years ago, 180g vinyl with gatefold sleeve

They all have the same audio. The best CD version is indeed the High Vaultage one. Metal Blade pressings have modified audio.

I would get "Borrowed time" before Canterbury.I didn't like Canterbury much at all.

I got both self -released lp's fully signed and one has a white label and the other lp has a Happy Face music label which was Diamond Heads Label i think.

The lightning to the Nation was issued by Wolfe Records.

saw Diamond Head Live when I went to England last Summer
