Priorities should be albums that haven't been on vinyl yet:
Gorguts - Erosion of Sanity
a proper version of Ulver - Bergtatt (Kveldsanger too I guess)
Skepticism - Stormcrowfleet
others I can't think of right now
And they should be done properly to a high standard, not a BOB job or something like that. I wouldn't even bother if it was. To be honest unless they were recorded on all or part analog stuff what's even the point of pressing a vinyl? So you can charge nice expensive shipping on a oversized CD with shit pixellated album art? How "good" it sounds is besides the point, its still just an approximation. Same old argument again I know but its true, and there are plenty of labels who at least get the album covers right and admittedly do a nice sounding vinyl cut. I'll shut up now. |

FYRDUNG - I'm thinking about releasing their albums on vinyl myself. Great and under-rated band.

| I read on this forum awhile back that relapse is supposed to be issuing Mortal Throne of Nazarene on vinyl for the first time. Is this still happening? |

sound on "onward to Golgotha" was bad. i think relapse isnt a good label for vinyl. |
