I saw this band in NZ during 2000 and again in 2002. Totally killer stuff, I liked that their sets were really concise. 20 mins from memory.
There are so few bass, drums and vocals only BM bands, and this was definitely the best I ever heard. I mean yeah, there's Necromantia, but that is different to the raw, stripped back nature of Skuldom. I couldn't really compaare those acts, even though they are conceptually similar.
i forget the name of them, but Shaxul from Hirilorn/DSO had a band called Arphaxat or something which was along the same lines.

ARPHAXAT is amazing I will make interview with Shaxul in next issue of my zine for sure.
I have at my home the video but havent link. |
