Especially Sventevith is a masterpiece of atmospheric melodic Black Metal, with great folkish parts and epic keyboards. |

My favorite song by them is Moonspell Rites tho :/ Still their early, black years were never that good. |
They're playing Moonspell Rites on their current tour. They butcher it though...

I really enjoy everything between the second demo and the first full-length. Haven't heard much from the rest. _________________ http://www.thehereticstorch.blogspot.com/

| From much of the more commonly known bands of this kind, this is one of the good ones. |

I agree. I like their middle death metal albums (Zos Kia Cultus and Demigod) a lot, though they started to repeat themselves to diminishing returns after that. I don't really feel like I need to hear whatever they do next. But I don't mind them at all. _________________

They didn't "suck" as a Black Metal band, they just were not very memorable among the 90's greats and their decision to change things up as they did was surely the right one!
I did see Behemoth live before I became a fan and that was definitely what kicked it off for me, the live show was fucking amazing!
Excited for the tour with TDB, IN SOL and WATAIN.
Can't remember the last time I liked a touring lineup from top to bottom like this...no, it was probably the 2008 Carcass reunion tour with Suffocation, 1349, Aborted and Rotten Sound....that was quite a tour as well! _________________ We Are Satan's Generation And We Don't Give A Fuck! |

Why is Inferno using drum triggers on all his kit? I can understand on the kick, but toms/snare? The fuck? It just sounds plastic and boring. Also, most of the times it makes the drums too loud. But we'll see...
Excited for this whole tour as well, I was a major Behemoth fan in my earlier years of extreme metal but have grown quite tired of them recently. But still, curious to see them live + the 3 other bands should make up for the cost. |

The band turned slowly into shit, with the first signs of it on Grom. Saw them live in 1999 and it was terrible, forgot about them afterwards. |

| Behemoth (Swe) > Behemoth (Pol), really like the Blitzkrieg vibe they had. |

Yes, but Grom is still a good album. Then i've lost interest in their music. |

Though that I'm only one who likes Grom. It has some strange charm. Excellent soundtrack when relaxing in countryside/middle of nowhere in summer nights. _________________ Mors fennico more |
