DEATHSPELL OMEGA - 2012 - DROUGHT (MCD)

"Drought" has the sour taste of the inexorable; it is a musical journey through the last moments before disaster hits. This recording displays some of the most lethal song writing ever witnessed from the band while retaining their unmistakable sound.

-Follow-up to a series of records, "Si Monumentum...", "Fas..." and "Paracletus" that were all critically acclaimed
-Culmination of a decade of conceptual work that ends with the final echoes of "Drought"
-The unique aspects of the band's musical universe have been taken to new levels, strengthening its undisputed singularity

Track list:
1. Salowe Vision 3.45
2. Fiery Serpents 4.15
3. Scorpions & Drought 3.10
4. Sand 1.40
5. Abrasive Swirling Murk 3.50
6. The crackled Book of Life 4.20

Release date June 22nd 2012

Almost sad to see that it's not a 20+ minute track, but I'm sure that, as the above poster mentionned, it's going to be a total spiritual obliteration in the name of Satan.

So, is this a final release or something? Hopefully after this, they'll shut up.

Given that they barely say anything interview-wise, I think you'd be more content with people shutting up about them, mate.

Anyway, pre-ordered the CD and LP.

I like when they do 20 minute tracks, but I'll be cool to hear this, I've enjoyed their last few records a lot....
