You do NOT want to skip Paracletus. Trust me.

SMRC will always be Deathspells pinnacle for me but I agree that Paracletus is an incredible album.

One of the only bands worth supporting. Everything under their banner is pure evil.

What about Diabolus Absconditus and Mass Grave Aesthetics. These weren't in any way related to the other 2 full-lengths... I doubt this one will be related to Paracletus either, but I might be mistaken.

I hope DsO continues to put out evil and original music. Total support from me. I view SMRC as their best Black Metal album, but Paracletus as their best album. Both are perfect in their own essence.

It is.

Diabolus... and MassGrave... were recorded before "SMR,C" and aren't part of the trilogy.

Really ? I had no idea those tracks were that old. They sound quite different than the post "Inquisitors of Satan" but pre "SMR,C" material found on the Manifestations releases....

Looking forward to this. Will entice me to finally pick up Paracletus and complete this grand work.

Correct.

Fucking stoked on a new DSO release. I've been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to "Paracletus." SMRC and everything succeeding it to me is some of the best black metal stuff ever written. Especially "Mass Grave Aesthetics," "Diabolus...," and "Kenose."

I liked Fas, but even the people I know that didn't care for it fucking LOVE Paracletus .

I'm only repeating this to hammer home the idea that Paracletus cannot be missed. Incredible record.

Can't wait to hear new material. Anytime I hear that DSO or Ruins of Beverast are putting out something new I'm liable to have a stroke from the excitement.
