Taake recently announced a new album, "Kong Vinter", to be released the 24th of November. Vinyl version seems to come early 2018.

Cover is alright but they really missed the chance to put a giant monkey in the snow as the cover.

That's a really awesome cover - so little, yet so much at once!

Would work even better without the logo and title.

I'll be checking this out because of old habits dating back to 1999. Cover would be better without any text. Or outlines. Man I hate outlines.

Vinyl edition is without the logo/title and bigger landscape.

Most definitely a moody eyecatcher, and it certainly manages to capture the simply yet striking visual language of early 90s black metal glory. Well, reason enough for me to check the album out after Taake lost me with "Hordalands doedskvad".

LOL
made me think of this:

I dunno about this band, I loved the first album when it came out, but I over played it
now that style seems to cheery for some reason to me, not unlike Gorilla Biscuits actually
