Sounds interesting. It's probably going to be $15 knowing Metallica, but I may pick up a copy.

This tape edition is obvious RSD bullshit. At least CD and vinyl will come later.

It's good that they are finally doing an official reissue after all the bootlegs.

a release "allocated" to the stores that spend the most money with big labels. trve RSD manufactured collector frenzy.

I'm glad they are doing this on tape. I'd like to have it on the original medium for nostalgia.

I'll get the record whenever it comes as long as it isn't 40 bucks or some ridiculous shit.

ah that's cool!

an original (from Lars) should be among the most expensive and sought after demos out there?

Quote:
Ulrich is struck hardest by the sound of what the group has uncovered – especially as they work on their next album. "It just sounds so fucking innocent and so instinctive," he says. "When we're sitting here, writing our new songs and getting to a point now where we're getting close to pre-production, James Hetfield will play, like, 34 ways a song could be better, and I just sit there and my head turns into Linda Blair from The Exorcist because they all sound great and at some point, we gotta pick one."

So, does this mean their new material will sound better?

Hoping for something cool with these! The No Life til Power bootleg sounds great already so worst comes to worst, there is always that. Just hope they don't fuck too much with the sound.

Really curious what they will unearth for the CD/LP as a bonus although the demo itself will be already enough to get this. But as already mentioned, let´s hope the remastering won´t ruin these recordings...

they've been asking for bootlegs and old photos from fans, so I'm hoping all these reissues will be worth it (not just another reissue of the same). even if they're more expensive than normal. those first three records are still stone cold metal classics.
