Been listening to the Contragenesis LP since it arrived last week. Absolutely lethal album from start to finish!
I agree the production overall sounds better than on Death Transmutation, still so fucking heavy but maybe less murky and more abrasive...some of their most accomplished songwriting too. I agree the closing track is indeed one of their best yet, but I think "A Rotting Faith Condemned" also needs mention here. The seamless contrast between doomyness and frenzy takes my head off.
Nice cover art and layout too, but that raises one thing: Where's the poster?! Will we have to wait for album #3 for a wicked Ignivomous poster to put up on our walls? (Haha! Not whinging here  the music is the important thing, and we already have the poster that came with the 7" for our dungeon walls)

The cover art was on the front and gatefold so we opted to skip the poster this time.
