Speed Metal type band from Canada with a female singer. She has a side-business selling and designing "sexy rock clothes" for chicks and models them on her site for the clothes. I do not think there are Tits in the other thread. |

Im no accountant so can not difinitively answer your questions. However no matter what a label spends their money on whether it be an advance or marketing budget it is a a business expense therefore a tax write off in that particular financial year. There will be further expenses for the label in the following financial year to offset profits recouped hence the business has cashflow. Businesses do need to spend money, A. to make money & B. to pay less tax.
In regards to a Satanic pop band on a major label, it worked pretty well for Marylin Manson. The resistance & controversy definitely provided him with ample free publicity. |
