There are sooooo many bands that never should have released that second of third album, because they just suddenly sucked. But than there are those beautiful ones that just released an album or two of pure genious and was never heard from again.
BLOODSTONE - Hour of the Gate is my big surprise of the year. This band should have ruled the world.

Lord Bane. Not certain as to if anyone on this forum will recognize the name, but they were a dark, progressive metal band who only released one album, Age of Elegance, and then disbanded.

They should have recorded that with a real drummer. The drum machine kills it for me.

you're positive it's a drum machine? i'm listening to it now, and i guess it makes sense that it would be...weird, i never really suspected it, and i usually have a keen ear for those sorts of things...guess i was just overpowered by the majesty of those riffs, plus the fact that one of the members is credited with playing drums... |
