Hello fans...

It's been awhile since I posted such things in here or in any forum abroad..........

I usually don't boast like this but I must....... Darker than Black sent me an ABSURD shirt with the worst quality imaginable!!! The ink job on this is total shit and totally unexpected. I guess someone is more than ever pre-occupied with money than actually quality!

I would be downright ashamed to package a shirt of this quality... this is totally not acceptable from such a label!!!

Fuck you Darker than Black!

Bullshit for such an expensive shirt!

This thread is the equivalent of throwing a tantrum in the atrium of a mini mall because you weren't satisfied with your purchase at Abercrombie & Fitch

Bullshit for such an expensive shirt and a band I highly respect!

If anything I have more respect for DTB then I most of the labels I've known in the black metal community. Hendrick actually releases new/lesser known bands and makes an effort to distribute said music, which does take quite a large amount of dedication to something considering how much money a label loses on releasing anything nowadays be it vinyl, CD's, shirts or otherwise.

It's kinda sad that black metal has become this, where it's more about the bells and whistles then the actual music. Plus how often do some of us wear shirts? I've had some shirts I've worn for 6 years that don't have any wear on them.

Respect to Hendrik, still being totally dedicated to Underground Black Metal after all he's been through..

As for the shitty shirt: contact him instead of posting here, I'm sure he'll find a solution.

recently ordered the "The True Werwolf" LP from DTB. It arrived in excellent condition and the communication was nice and everything went fast.
Total support!!

why not posting something about the quality of a product?
if this shirt is pure shit, why not sending a warning to "the public"?

there are about 1896 shirts/CDs/LPs/7"s/... relesed every month and the customer has to decide what items to spend money on, so it's justifiable to inform the whole bunch of potential buyers of this product about ther shit quality.

whats the prob?
Just because H. is such a dedicated black metal warrior it doesn't mean he can produce shit quality.

The thing is, the buyer should try and find a solution with the seller instead of immediately posting about the problem on a forum. If the both of them don't come an agreement I, as a buyer, would surely vomit some frustration on a messageboard.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. JFN dwells this forum on a daily base so he'll probably be here to react in 3... 2... 1...

Hey Ivan! Try the following:

"Dear DTB,

unfortunately something was wrong with the shirt you sent me. The quality was rather poor because [insert details here]. My order number was [insert order number here]. In the attachment you find a pic of the shirt [put pic in attachment now!]. Maybe you can send me some replacement.

Yours,

Ivan"

This would be more appropriate than your initial post.

maybe it's a singular coincident within the whole stock of this particular shirt, maybe not. if all of these shirts are of minor quality, it's legit to post like above, although the customer doesn't know if all items of the product line are shit of course.

anyway: "public" postings about minor quality are healthy for the sake of "quality management". If I would be H. I would be more awake to produce/send out merchandise/CDs/LPs/... now.
