Cheers for the link, I am listening to youtube clips and I can't decide what I think of this one... I like the riffs, but there's no bass!! I guess I am just kind of burned on black metal overall these days.

Computer speakers maybe? I hear a good bit of bass especially for this style of BM. I've even read reviews of this LP that specifically mention interesting bass work. But there's no Bootsy on there that's for sure.

Yeah, there's plenty of bass on the LP. Fantastic fucking album...it works so well as a cohesive whole. This is the first traditional black metal album in a many years to peak my interest in the sound again. Quality song writing is what it really comes down to. |

| The new Mgla leaves me with mixed feelings really... I enjoy the hell out of the A side but lose interest once side B rolls around. I feel like the track placement is wonky or something. All the awesome riffs are on the first four tracks and the B side just flounders in comparison. Just my opinion though. |

YES.
"New sinister hymns are being composed. I believe we are over the halfway point of writing for the debut LP and we hope to start recording in early 2013. We hope to outdo Exalted in terms of composition and pure musical and mystical darkness. If we do not reach our goal of writing the darkest Death Metal album in the genre's history then we will postpone the recording process". (from an e-mail I received last month)
