Morbid Angel meets Necrovore, can't go wrong with that!
Wasn't a huge fans of the earlier releases but this album is amazing |

Just bought the CD few days ago.. This album FUCKIN' SLAYS !!!
Even if the Morbid Angel influence is strong, they're totally on their own, trully evil, dark and magic !
The guitar parts blow me away haha!
The best stuff I heard this year I guess... |

It's not a grower. It falls quite badly because of the powerless sounds.
Also I must say that I'm getting seriously tired of these swedish bands with always the same Morbid Angel/Necrovore vibe. I just wonder what is the next trend. _________________

All four of 'em, eh?
You guys get fucking tired of everything as soon as there's more than one of it. Everything's a trend and by all means, we must reject "trends." Unless of course it's a trend we like, and then we'll defend it or even deny it's a trend at all...
I still think this album is one of the best three or four this year, easily. _________________

Trends are trends you dislike. Trends that you like are movements and scenes. _________________ http://www.thehereticstorch.blogspot.com/

Hmmm, did not noticed anything like this. Can you name some bands that you have in mind? Would really like to hear them (unless its something obvious).

This! Too much Entombed/Dismember clones around yep, but I think we're not very submerged by the "Morbid Angel/Necrovore" followers...
Maybe the Uppsala crew is more in this stuff but we can't talk about a "trend" here...
Really inspired and catchy guitars riffs in this new album IMO... |
