Another one is that I don't like the production, for me it sounds abit too raw and unpolished to let the music unfold the full effect on the listener. A better production would definitely help these guys and the music. The artwork is nothing really special, not good, not bad. But I appreciate that it seems to be hand-drawn.
Anyway, those fantastic riffs and the great, great atmosphere are overwhelming and you drift into this melancholical void that this kind of music creates. But, and that is actually funny, you can actually have a good time to the Ghost Kommando type of Black Metal. It has an extreme light edge and is very wreaking. The vocals are not really typical Black Metal style vocals, there is alot of reverb in the almost clean vocals, that's also what makes them so unique.
All in all, this album totally owns and I'm recommending this to anybody who likes Wave music and also Black Metal. You just can't go wrong with this if you're looking for unique and special music. Check out eBay or Discogs to get a copy because it's pretty much sold out due to the small limitation. |

The demo box set should be out by March 18. It is almost sold out so anyone who wants to order it better do so now. All copies we're going to receive are already reserved for our closest contacts, so no orders, sales or trades from our side. Again: It's a DAR-release, so support the maniac behind it. And if you have the demos already, leave this release to those who don't own them - unless you are extremely fanatic, then we don't want to cure you.
We are currently recording the music for an exclusive collaboration with another great BM-cult. This is the first time in our 13 years of existence (including the years as Bestial Torment/Forgotten Chaos) that we make a split-release, so you can be sure we are really impressed by our partners in crime. Will not announce the name by now, but I can tell you that it's not a Swiss band. Expect something special, later this year! |
