I haven't bought the repress cos I don't like the new artwork at all, a rerelease with the original art would be perfect.

If Svart does it I'll be all over that within a second I imagine Cool

I've never heard/seen any of the old and supposedly shit BOB records. I have a couple of newer ones though, and they aren't shit so much as they are just...noticeably average. In every way. Now on the other hand my friend's copy of the Svart edition of Dance of December Souls is just excellent!

I'd take a Svart reissue over BoB piece of shit any day.

If anyone is going to do it, it will probably be Hammerheart- they seem to have a nice little vinyl deal going on at the moment with Candlelight/ Plastic Head. Birds of a feather...

A Svart version would be nice, will never buy a garbage BOB- version of this one.

The new and the old artwork to this album sucked, are you guys kidding me here or what? Albsolutely crap on both accounts.

Only thing that saves this band is the absolutely wicked music.

Technically, you can tell its old artwork could be better, but then again no, it's just perfect. Possibly my favorite album cover, I never bought the CD reissue for the same reason.

If someone wants to re-press a classy looking vinyl LP of this album, straight black cover with foil stamp band logo on front and album title, that's it.

Something similar to what CM just did with that one ULVER album they love to keep pressing. ...cause the Written in Waters artwork is atrocious.

Someone seriously paid 350 euros for this on Ebay 6 months ago, I had no idea this is so expensive these days? I really should get rid of mine, I can't even remember when I've listened this last time.

I guess you're talking about the original lp. It depends on its condition, even worn out copies cost 100 eur these days though.

Is the BoB repress of VBE's "Written in Waters" any good?

Not after the usual bagging of this label, as some of the stuff I've got from them is actually decent, but I know there's a cut off date from when they used to do rubbish and I'm not sure where this sits in their history.

I have the repress, sounds fine. Check it out next time you come over.
