Great! It's a pity you're not doing the rest because I just saw that it's BOB that are doing them

BoB started really badly with cheap vinyl and poor quality sound, but anything from 2008 onwards has been pretty good in my opinion. Good packaging, good quality records with no surface noise, and generally a decent price too.
Some of you guys need to get off your high horses I think.
It's a shame these are being re-issued in all honesty as I spent a fucking fortune on Heart of the Ages and Omnio originals. |

^^ I generally agree with this. The BOB re-issues I have are recent and are decent for the price. I would like a little more specialty treatment though for those legendary albums, but still from a sound perspective BoB is good these days. _________________ People I want to kill: Russell Brand....fucking annoying. |

+1 (except for the not wanting the reissues, I'd quite like an Omnio reissue myself ) _________________ Ignivomous merch: abaddon_963[at]hotmail.com

I was on this for months and working directly with the band, and the band kept telling the label they want me to do it.
The label was very slow and requested some of the craziest money I've ever heard. I half-agreed to it, but I asked to see some contracts (as I was pitching on some other bands on their roster, where the bands claimed to own rights). So it all seemed a bit fishy.
They wound up delivering it to BoB under all of our noses, and the band and me are both fucking :[ about it.

I kind of feel like In the Woods... is a band that is best enjoyed on cd due to the flow of their albums, Omnio in particular. I probably wont bother with these and stick to my original cd's, although I did pick up the Isle of Men lp that came out a couple of years ago.
Obviously the people praising newer BoB releases didn't buy Hate Forest "Battlefields", heh.
(thankfully I already owned the original) |
