Depravity (Fin) Silence of the Centuries + Remasquerade / Demos Official compilation CD. Dark Descent Records is proud to announce partnering with the Mighty Depravity to unleash their discography on one tremendous CD compilation! Brutal and melodic Finnish death metal with chugging, heavy riffs, pummeling percussion, eerie atmospheres and dark, guttural vocals that easily stands up against their Swedish brothers. The amazing CD will feature not only both of the Adipocere releases including the MCD and the 7"ep, but also the band's obscure yet equally brutal demography and new liner notes from bassist Petri Ilvespakka. During their two year existence, DEPRAVITY featured members of Sigillum Diaboli (Fin), Psychopathic Terror (Fin), Sonata Arctica (Fin) and Diaboli (Fin).
Xenomorph (US) - Empyreal Regimes Discography CD
During its short lifespan, Xenomorph inflicted their listeners with scars that refused to heal, assaulting the senses with a combination of twisted, technical music and diabolical imagery.
2011 will see Xenomorph's 1995 out-of-print "Empyreal Regimes" ressurected complete with the band's 1993 "Subspecies" demo on Dark Descent Records.

insane. i have the original pressing of that xenomorph when i was on an angelcorpse fan boy kick and was trying to track down all of the connected individuals stuff.
will be ordering both soon. |

Xenomorph, much like its namesake, is an alien entity that can be extremely difficult to kill. Empyreal Regimes represents the blood, filth, and otherworldly chaos of this unholy trinity. The band was the brainchild of Joe Papek, who died less than one year after this recording. His death marked the end of the band, but apparently not to the end of the band's influence. During its short lifespan, Xenomorph inflicted their listeners with scars that refused to heal, assaulting the senses with a combination of twisted, technical music and diabolic imagery. Years after its demise, there has been increased interest in this now out-of-print recording. To continue the musical legacy, we have decided to include the 1993 Subspecies demo as bonus tracks - thus making this the band's complete catalog contained within one package. Some bands, like some lives, burn out quickly - Flesh may decay, but music will never die...

For those of you who missed the Depravity CD compilation, it is back in stock at Dark Descent. We also have the limited to 100 (only available through Dark Descent) blue vinyl version of The Crypt's edition shipping now too.
