If he is the drummer of Thantifaxath, Sortilegia then yes. |
Indeed, he is. |

I will ship to several US maniacs as soon as this shitmas is over and done with. From the top of my head; Fallen Empire, Tour De Garde(Canada), Contagion Releasing will stock copies. If I forgot anyone; sound off! |
A Terre as well, but that was mentioned on the previous page. _________________ A TERRE RECORDS

| Quote: | The Vemodian Society brings a humble offering in celebration of the winter solstice and the introspective season that is midwinter:
We have updated our bandcamp with all of our published material! This means our old debut tape release, 'Kringom fjell og skog', the complete 'Vinterilden' tape and the exclusive piece 'Vi er natten' from the compilation 'Samhainwork 1' released digitally earlier this autumn, are all available for streaming now.
We wish you a magnificent solstice night! To the stars and beyond!

Excellent! These will help me get through this REALLY LONG workday. Saving the full-length until I have it in my hands with artwork and lyrics. _________________

You should.
I downloaded it and listened to it once. I know it'll take some time to sink in but I'm also sure I'm going to love it so I'll wait until I can spin the LP to listen to it again. I love the atmosphere and the contrast between the black metal and the ambient bits. It's perfect. I wished the vocals and the drums were mixed louder though. I don't think Vemod needs a "special" production to create those icecold Northern atmospheres. |

| Reminds me a bit of PAYSAGE D'HIVER in the way the atmosphere is the main ingredient. |

Based on repeat listens to samples this is my favorite release out of Trondheim in recent years. Puts Dodsengel/Mare/etc to shame IMO. _________________

REALLY? I found it at times underwhelming but that's only from 2 listens.
MIRIUM OCCULTUM AND SPHERES LIKE DEATH are going to be really hard albums to match. |

| Finally received this and Svartidaudi. With any luck I will be able to listen to it at work undisturbed this evening. |

dodsengel is not from trondheim (and they're crap anyway)...and mare > vemod no matter how good the new vemod sounds |

It's rather absurd to directly compare Mare and Vemod, I'd say. |
