On behalf of Smutak and his brother, I announce the following:
The last release of Morak Prod. is available. It is the tape edition of a demo by Finnish one-man Black Metal/Ambient act Omegathrum Moon titled "Lux Fosforus Omnipotens". The tape was ready for release at the time of well-known events of August 2012. While tape inlays and stickers were stored at Smutak's rented apartment in Minsk and were rescued by his brother, the master recording of the demo was kept on a memory stick which was confiscated from Smutak when he was arrested.
Despite Smutak's imprisonment (to my knowledge, the trial is still ongoing) and life sentence or death penalty looming for him, he's resolved to continue operating his label. Just several days ago Smutak's brother finally was able to get the master files of the demo again from Omegathrum Moon. Unfortunately, the recording was provided only as mp3 files with 224 kbps bitrate, and according to its author, this is the only format it has been preserved in. As there's no sense in postponing the release anymore, it was decided to publish the demo such as we have it.
Most of the print run (which was 150 copies) is available from Smutak's brother, who can be contacted at prokl.21[at]hotmail.com (Andrey). A score of copies are available from me.
