I mean sure, the story could be fake, but the band's lyrics being in English isn't really that much of a clue either way, is it? |

At least the woman must exist cause her other band Seeds of Iblis does. The 7'' was released on Legion of Death if I remember well.
Musically speaking, not the best thing I've listened to, but the lyrics have balls, I guess.
There were some other bands in middle east insulting the Islam, same in Indonesia, so why not ?
I saw a tv documentary about musicians in Teheran playing death metal hidden in a cave, once one of the guys did a couple days in jail for having long hair.

Well it could give a slight clue, i mean Bathory was from a first world country not a third world country where im presuming knowing english is not as common and their isn't as much exposure to it.
If she is from Iraq i'd be presuming she is from a well off family (being able to record, access to the net, owning guitars, hanging out with males and so on - especially a female being allowed such things over there).
Could also just be a popularity scheme, or like with so many of these bands they were brought up or born in a country - move away to a safer country (like India), do music, but then make the claim of still being from that country to make it seem more "extreme".
Maybe i should say DTL is the first ever PNG BM band !!!
