I'd love to see a Demise reissue.

I thought the split was great. Will definately check out the new album if it happens.

Had a listen to the new album this weekend and you definately have to pick it if you liked the 7". Actually, it will be on the same style but when it comes to creativity and production, it will be much better than 7". It will be out on CD soon, self-released by the band.

That's in the very early stages of planning now. The band is collecting layout material. It will come out as a split release between NWN and the Greek label that did the recent split 7".

What is this, "Demise" reissue? Collection of DEMOs? or Both? or New Album?

It will most likely contain the entire old era stuff (1989-1993).

Trapped in Hell is exactly the same demo as Deny Your Destiny, the only difference is that Deny Your Destiny included some extra tracks.

Regarding the process of reissue: I had been digging their archive for 3 days last week and I'm still not done yet, there's still work to do.

Good to hear, I stopped searching Demise ages ago, not interested in paying the current rates.
There was a rumour of a deadstock of the original pressing of Demise ( although I might have started that one by some freak accident?).
Deadstock or not, it's still sickeningly hard and expensive to acquire.
Deny Your Destiny is the only one of the demos that I've heard.

The deadstock rumour is not true, lots of the copies were lost almost 20 years ago. Band members don't even have copies for themselves at the moment.

I got some copies of Demise, Necrorgasm & Deny your Destiny from Michalis Monastirlis. I only have one copy of the demo and some lyric inserts of the LP/7" left.

Death Courier from Greece will finalize the NWN Fest IV line up. They will perform an old school set consisting of only "Demise" album tracks.

As you can hear in this recent rehearsal video, they are more than capable of living up to their legendary status and haven't softened at all over the years.

Phenomenal news! Saw them live in Athens in 2012 and they've been beyond awesome.

NWN Fest IV Update!

We have both unfortunate and also exciting news to report for those attending this year's NWN Fest. The bad news is that Armour from Finland had to cancel their appearance due to an unforeseen line-up issue. However, we believe that the good news in this case overshadows the bad by a significant margin, as it has allowed us the opportunity to invite two other legendary bands to the fest. Finalizing an already solid line-up are two of the most ancient metal forces from Greece - namely, the mighty VARATHRON and DEATH COURIER! Both bands have been pioneers in the formation of what we now perceive as the "Greek sound," with its characteristic atmospheric riffs, traditional heavy metal influences, and doomy passages. We are very proud and honored to host these classic bands in Berlin this year, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Check out this recent Death Courier rehearsal to verify that they haven't lost a step in 2014: http://youtu.be/Em-Kk6PbWjc

Compare it to how they sounded on the Demise LP from 1992: http://youtu.be/WmkD-gPieSs
