Am I the only person on earth that thinks "Bring Your Daughter...To the Slaughter" is a good song? I think I have a real soft spot for No Pray For the Dying, because I won a framed poster of the album cover at a carnival when I was 9 years old and always liked that cover. |

I did forget to mention the fact that I like Bring Your Daughter... To the Slaughter. That's probably the only song out of No Prayer that stands out for me. And perhaps for the majority of the people, no? That and maybe Tailgunner or Holy Smoke. _________________ Der Rest ist Schweigen. |

I like Bring Your Daughter as well! Great one. And in general I like No Prayer more than FOTD. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

'Iron Maiden' all the way through to 'Seventh Son', then nothing except for Bruce Dickinson's 'Chemical Wedding' (GREAT record) till 'Brave New World' and onwards. Dance of Death is pretty weak, but far better than the 90's albums. |
I totally agree with this. Personally I think the newer stuff is really great. _________________

My favourite metal band and inventor of all.
I think Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is the metal album itself and Steve & Co. are an hybrid alien/human for the work have done.
I worship the discussing album No Prayer and Fear of the dark and sincerily my interest after these goes a bit...
Of course I ignore the abominable Blaze era and from the reunion album I like BNW and AMOLAD. Actually concentrate my attention in find illegal bootleg from the Somewhere and Seventh Son era and buying books about them.
Forever Up The Irons!

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Is this the soundtrack of The Emoji Movie? Seems fitting as both are cancer incarnate. |

I go as far as Brave New World, which has some excellent songs despite how repetitive all the choruses are. SIT/SSOASS will always be my favourite _________________

How far? Not far. I only have the first two and have no special relationship with either one, but they're alright. What's more important is that a band like Iron Maiden is one of the great easily accessible vanilla flavors in metal - a great (or adequate) introduction and a soft landing to such music that also serves as a springboard to a whole plethora of - get this - better bands.
Of course much credit goes to grand originators like IM once may have been, but I swear if I hear Run To The Hills one more time, I'm gonna lose my mind. _________________ §:-Ğl |

It wasn't. Bruce did even co-write 3 songs on that, but couldn't be credited due to some still-running Samson contract. |

Seventh Son is pure shit. Pop music. Everything up through Powerslave is very good. I stop listening there |
