Innitially I thought the UoSM was rather bad, but like Illomen said earlier you have to give it a bit of chance. Months passed before I put it back on after hearing it the first time, but after giving it a bit of time I enjoy it as much "Desecration..." although if I'm in the mood for all out BW-blasting I'll put "D" on because it's easier on the ear.
Proclamation get better with each release, and personally I wouldn't say their were a "clone" band. Rather a band paying homage to a craft well done before. That's my opinion, at least. _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. The shadiest boskage covers it perpetually. |

One of the few American Black Metal bands with a fucking clue. They devastate all the shit that is commonly referred to as "War Metal", which is one of the most moronic and worthless terms ever used, especially applied to them when they're pure a Black Metal. They may be straightforward too, but they're not another shitty band who just cares about playing "fast" with no real emotion and decorating their releases with childish drawings of goats.
I wouldn't lump them in with most other American so-called "Black Metal" bands. They piss on them. |

| Was never too fussed with them on record (esp. Upheaval...) until I saw them live and they blew my mind- totally raw and in your face, the way it should be. |

BW is one of my all time favourite bands. Can't wait to hear something new from them again.
Even though I love both their albums, I'd like their third strike to be more in the vein of the first ep and the Conqueror split. _________________

| The soundboard recording they're putting out fucking rules. Usually I hate live releases myself, but it's the most vicious and heavy recording they've ever done. If you're into Black Witchery, get it, it doesn't fuck around so to speak. |

One of my favourite Live Band.
UOSM isn´t that good as the 1st one and especially the older stuff.
Anyway, can´t wait to get new stuff from them.
They shall start a new European Tour, haha. |
