Inade reigns supreme over most ambient music. Yen Pox is good, too. Herbst 9, Lustmord. pretty much anything on the Loki Foundation label. Cryo Chamber label also releases some good stuff.

Seconding Thomas Köner and Inade. Powerful music.

The newest Daniel Menche 3xCD "Sleeper" has been getting a lot of plays from me. Varied, hypnotic and relaxing unlike a lot of his other stuff. Highly recommended.

I've also been listening to Hiroshi Yoshimura a lot. Very cold and new agey but good for long walks in cold nights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJSuKb8YAYI

The mixes that go up on the Cryo Chamber Youtube are great.

Of the newer stuff on CC I think this guys pretty good. Quite cinematic.
