Consciously overpaid for a record?

I bought an Under One Flag pressing of Blood Fire Death for $40 or $50, vinyl in EX condition but cover in GD condition. Not sure if I got ripped off or not but it hasn't bothered me at all

not bad price at all still my favorite Bathory album of all time...Still say it was the first raw black metal ever created.

Spot on, unless you're a "collector" who never listens to records and only cares about market price horseshit, why not pay a bit more to get a record you can enjoy for longer?

I tend to bid on ebay a bit higher prices than I actually want to...
One thing I really overpaid, but it was absolutely worthy: the 'Desolation Propaganda'-Boxset of Those Opposed Records. I just liked the guy who was selling it and I knew the condition was fine - else, there was just no one selling that, expecially because the name of the owner is on the boxset (on mine it's erased Cool

In the early '90 overpaid Edge Of Sanity 'Nothing but death remains' cd for € 20 ($ 26), made by a mistake with my brother at home to receive post. Confused

Does it count if you overpaid by mistake, but the mistake is so stupid that it might as well have been conscious?

I just found a Dodsengel 7" on ebay from a European seller, and the italicized price was $21. Or rather - I thought it was. In fact I didn't notice that I was on ebay.co.uk and the italicized price was in GBP. Basically I just obligated myself to pay about $45 for a 7" that isn't even hard to find. I was thinking "fuck it, 20 bucks is about what it would cost from Europe anyway."

I want to put my head through a wall. Oh and if anyone knows where I can find the 10" for three times its fucking value let me know. Laughing

I bought the first press of Rabid Death's Curse for 250$, which i could probably have gotten for 100-150$ if i waited. problem is, i might have to wait for years.
