On the inlay of the "Chronicles Of Chaos CD" it says: "cover drawing (original cover idea for Consuming Impulse) by Patrick Mameli".

Even though I own the "Chronicles..." CD, never paid closed attention to that detail. I thought that this was just a sketch while the band had an even more elaborated artwork. Nice to point that out!

Me too. I also thought about a different sketch similar to the one used later on the LP/CD.

That original drawing for Consuming Impulse is pretty great, but I like the one it was released with.
Worst cover art for good records goes to all of Razors LP's, with the exception of Malicious Intent. If I was to reissue them, they would all get new ones. I would just hire new artists to take the basic concepts and make them look cool. |
