Predictable comment, but I think Wasp's best songs are not their hit-tracks. I think they lean too much towards the pop metal category, they're fun but definitely not best. My Wicked Heart is their undeniably best song, people who are not aware of it should give it a check.

Yeah this one's really good. They have some killer tracks in their late career, while no one seems to care what they've done after Crimson Idol.

Dying for the World is their most underrated late era album for sure, unless I am terribly mistaken it wasn't promoted much. A pity because Wasp never play live any tracks from it

in all seriousness, barbie girl was probably the best pop song of the 20th century.

Indeed, everyone knows that the best pop song from the 20th century is Walk Like an Egyptian.

Nope. ABBA probably has ten songs better than both "Barbie Girl" and "Walk Like an Egyptian"

Vlad Tepes "Massacre Song From The Devastated Lands"

Dødsengel - "Azonei Wyrdwalker"

...too many to list but these came off top

I agree with everything except Katharsis (my favourite one is Lunar Castles) and Vlad Tepes (I would say Under the Carpathian Yoke).

Darkthrone "Hans Siste Vinter"

Doom "Police Bastard"

Kvist "Ars Manifestia"

Manes "Under ein Blodraud Maane"

Sargeist "Sargeist"

Tukaaria "Mythology"

Demigod - As I Behold I Despise
Sepultura - From the Past Comes the Storms
Immolation - Father You're Not a Father
Ruins of Beverast - I Raised This Stone...
Metallica - Motorbreath
Mgla - Presence II

I guess I can't say any of these are "undeniable," or at least I won't speak for anyone but myself.

New Order - Temptation Embarassed

This thread is getting very stupid: Darkthrone, Burzum, Slayer, Bathory...these bands don't even have "undeniably best" albums, not to speak "undeniably best" songs.

Another useless rat-tail of subjective postings.
