I'm not going to pretend that I attend many shows, but I saw Incantation at Maryland Death Fest a few years back and they were amazing. _________________ http://www.thehereticstorch.blogspot.com/

I saw Incantation earlier this year with Autopsy and I was very underwhelmed. They didn't play much from the old albums, either. _________________

Saw 'em many times over the years. The poor guys had to follow Angelcorpse in like '99 or so... Not a good position to be in back then. _________________ http://www.20buckspin.com |

I think if they had shades and did that choreographed guitar thing ZZ Top does they would have. _________________

Pillard is too busy with shitty Disma to ever go back to Incantation, it would be great if he did though. He's too busy covering the band that made him successful in the first place _________________

Yeah I'm not sure why they don't play much older material. It's mainly stuff off the last few.

The band forged its own style, sticks to it, and manages to write great songs with this formula.I saw them in 2003 and last week end and i will go to the next show i can when they ll come back here or not too far.
No beard and white hair for Mcentee, i was shocked |

| One of my favorites, but I just can't get totally into the albums with McEntee on vocals. Still some great songs, but nowhere near the classics the first three are. Live, I find him a bit of a "goofy" frontman as well... he's a good vocalist, but still the weakest they've had. I still go to see them when I can, but I'm not paying to see them support fucking Cattle Decapitation put on by a promotions company known for being rip offs. |

I agree with this. Will get the new album though, and they were devastating at PSOA ! |

At the Onward to Golgotha show in Cleveland they played to a handful of people. Granted, the power went out on the block (it is Cleveland, after all) and they went on a couple hours late, but what the fuck? |
