I did some research and finally tracked down an email address for Heroes III lead artist. Wrote a mail, now waiting for answer but most likely its not active address, lets just hope for the best.

Symphony of the Night is definately there among Heroes III at best video games list. Its a must game to play through once in every year. OST is fucking magnificent, i'm happy that i own the original cd.

Castlevania on the PSX is lots of fun. I love how absurd it looks to scarf down hamburgers or trick-eat peanuts for health bonuses in those sceneries...
I always prefer the feel of Super Castlevania though. I don't really like mopey Alucard and his dad issues and it was all way too easy/short as well.

Not easy or short if you're trying to clear both castles, level all the familiars to 99, level Alucard to 99, get every item, see every enemy, find "glitch" rooms, etc. Aka thoroughly beat the fuck out of the game. Cool

But seriously that question about a MAC version of Heroes III needs to be answered.

I'm talking about the main game. Yeah you could drag the game endlessly with those tedious tasks afterwards, but respawning/one-shotting enemies for hours isn't exactly challenging either.
That said, I too was retarded enough to do most of that shit except leveling to 99. Shed oceans of blood with the Murasame to ridiculous powers though...Laughing

Yeah, 'cause I'm thinking about getting a Mac and this just may sway my decision. I got the Might & Magic collection off GOG.com does DOSBox work on mac? Do you have a Mac Kojiri? If so, is it pretty badass or should I just get a Acer?

I'm not much of a video game person really, but I grew up playing that game and so years later I actually really enjoyed "totally" beating the game. I think the main game, including the inverted castle, can probably be beaten in like 7 hours or so without a problem.
