I was born in the 70's and I played those game thoroughly. I still have the original "Streets of Rage" cartridge... I was born in 79, by the way, hehehe!

But this one, along Impaled Nazarene's "Ugra Karma" on repeat was the ultimate Mega-drive experience!

I'm a bit younger (1987), so although i played to games like ALTERED BEAST, ITALIA 90, GOLDEN AXE or STREETS OF RAGE 1 they were borrowed by friends of my older sister. Instead I owned and played so much to games like these:

Streets of Rage 2 (best than 1 in my opinion)

Earthworm Jim 2

Fifa 96

Ahhh the good ol Megadrive... this post bring back good memories. And by the way, Heroes 2 is far way better than 3!! The more realistics graphics of 3 weren't my cup of tea at all, although my friends tend to prefer that one.

By both runs, you mean with that blue fire weapon (the icon was a woman), right?
At least, I remember that you could only defeat the final boss with that weapon...

It's actually quite funny to see how many album covers have been lifted off other things.

If you guys had to pick one of these old consoles what would it be? I'm thinking about buying a dreamcast for Soul Edge or something.

Cody gets the girl in the end.
