MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! Century media, SUCK ALL THE CASH FROM DEATH METAL!!!

I'm sure the band weren't held at gunpoint to sign the contract. I can't believe people are still pretending to be into this shitty band anyway.

you're a clown. Vampire are awesome. who fucking cares what label they're on.

I know this board is for discussing underground metal but don't you have anything better to do than dump on labels ruining the "spirit of the underground"? Be happy. Pet a kitten. Pick a daisy.

When did expressing yourself become a loss of time?

I think it started when Internet communications began. We are all guilty!

I just think it's an exceedingly negative outlook. Like, can't you just enjoy the underground without worrying what might corrupt it? There's always other bands that will stay buried under 10 kgs of kvlt compost.

I wouldn't mind enjoying the underground in tranquility, if some major labels didn't invade it a very cynical and opportunistic manner.
I'm not able to swallow anything...

The carriage has been running before the horse since day one, in Vampire's particular case. Still - it's a very good demo. If they signed a deal with a label that can offer them more than "33 xeroxed covers + master cd-r" - good for them. As long as they keep making good music, they may move on to EMI, for all I care.

If you’re interested in buying a classic Slayer album, try “South of Heaven” instead, or if you’re into a more modern, melodic appraoch, go for “Diablous In Musica”. Aviod this one.

Last time I saw it on ebay - the winning bid was 40-45 Euros+postage, something like that. That's what I paid for an original (white goat) 80's pressing of Bathory's debut (in near mint condition), around a year ago Laughing

I mean making big monetary benefits and vampirizing the spirit of the deep underground

Yes, and who lets them do that?

Well the demo sounded alright I suppose last night when I browsed this thread, but not that good... not any better than say $10 max including shipping. Laughing

So what the hell is the deal with this particular outfit that they are so popular or creating such a ridiculous interest and price tag associated with a mere single three or four song demo?

The music is alright but there really is nothing there I can see that would create such a stir more so than any other particular current act. Confused
