Just bit the bullet and ordered this from Croatia. Anyone else getting one/know it exists? 265 pages and you can customize the space car license plate on the back Smile

Same here! Glad I had some extra money burning a hole in my paypal account. I'm a sucker for all things Maiden and SIT especially.

If this is the same Croatian who wrote the Steve Harris book he's a rip off. Hopefully you'll actually get it.

well known here as rip off and man who fucked up every festival he tried to organize

he fucked up so many bands and customers that he became synonym for disaster here

just a small fragment of his work:

Oh so it is him.

I'm guessing if the book turns up it will be terrible to then, the Steve Harris one was pure shit.

Well, fuck. That sucks. Maybe since I now have low expectations I'll end up presently surprised. Confused

My personal favorite from Iron Maiden but going to wait before ordering that book. I have never read whole book about just one record, but I can see how that can be really interesting subject if the album is undeniable classic, which it is in this case.

This guy already wrote several Maiden related books and is planning on writing even more, including totally useless shit like "Iron Maiden for Kids". Apparently he took quite a bit of money in preorders for several books that weren't even finished, kept making excuses to people and then vanished for quite a while. Turns out he was being accused of raping a girl in Croatia and was busy defending himself in court (as far as I know, he was acquitted of all charges). These days he seems to be back in business and people are actually receiving the books they ordered like two years ago.

All this info comes from the official Maiden fanclub forum, I personally have never dealt with the guy and have zero interest in any of the books. Weird story anyway.

Why would anyone want to buy some shitty fan written book with zero involvement or authorisation from the band?

This I did not know. Count me out. Come on Maiden, step up and do a SIT book! I can't get enough pics of the band in the poor mans Star Wars land cruisers.
