Don't know if I would make the same comparison... I do think the teaser track @ HHB sounds killer though. Great band!

The demos and EPs of this band were way better. Just like WEAPON.

I struggle with World Cremation, but the live videos/versions of those tracks seem decent.

Wasn't a huge fan of the album, but they are the best live black metal band in Australia right now and the new stuff kills. I might be a biased as I worked on the EP that's coming out but I don't get any Marduk sound at all

Actually i was pretty surprised as well.... usually i dont check out/listen those "orthodox/religious" black metal bands, expect maybe something like Kriegsmachine... same with Marduk, i like 2 albums, but thats it, i saw them live 2 times and didnt hooked up neither.
Anyway maybe there is some "religious" influences(though i wouldnt call it one more religious band), and dont hear Marduk there... anyway last album was big dissapoinment, it was listenable, but didnt matched new demos.. but according this new 7", new one will be great! |
