I'm looking for "1992-1999" stuff like 1st Embrionic Death demo, very early Internal Bleeding, early Devourment, etc. I'm sure there must be lots of US demos in this style from those years.
No post-2000 triggered crap, thanks.

Afterlife
Their track "Divine Enlightenment" (on the Grind Core records comp) supposedly features the first recognizable slam-riff ever recorded, way before Suffocation, Internal Bleeding & the likes.

The first two demo/eps: "Invocation of Evil" and "Perpetual Degradation".

Ripping Corpse isn't exactly "slam", but absolutely has some slam sections/riffs. Dreaming with the Dead is of course a classic.

If you're talking about the Death Row comp, that didn't come out until 1993...

I've got in stock the Damonacy compilation CD, it's pretty decent and although you didn't ask for the newer bands check Day of Doom from NY (shameless plug).

^^^Definitely. It would be outstanding if all of the old demos could see some kind of re-release.

Love this stuff!

mostly all mentioned but

Damonacy

Repudilation

Infernal Dominion

I think the Imprecation demo cd has its chuggy moments but i wouldn't call it slam, either way awesome. Same goes for Infester, chuggy moments, not slam though. Same with Morpheus Descends and Baphomet. Awesome chugging death metal.
