4)Corpse Molestation-"At The Graveyard Of God"

I would have to pick a theme and then try to avoid stuff that the person is familiar with already. That is if this was really a mix tape/CD and not just "my favourite 10 songs" (of the day). I would also spend WAY too much time figuring out what to put on it, even down to the song order.

Do an early MAIDEN tape with Dickinson on vocals on one side, and an early SEPULTURA on the second side like my first Metal tape! Begin with the SEPULTURA side and the intro from Schizophrenia! If the person doesn't like what he/she listens to, he/she may not be fit for Metal. Cool

Any mixtape fullfilling the same requirements will do. Not "atmospheric" BM, no okkvlter than thov stuff, no proto-Hard-Rock, no stoner shit, etc. Only real classics of real Metal.
And please save stuff like MANILLA ROAD or other more obscure acts, however great they are, for later! Be straight!

Of the top of my head, mine would go something like this. Top 5 artists are permanent, rest is more or less temporary (songs included):

BLACK SABBATH - Under the Sun
THE SMITHS - Girl Afraid
DISSECTION - Heaven's Damnation
THIN LIZZY - Bad Reputation
BATHORY - Born for Burning
IRON MAIDEN - The Evil That Men Do
MERCYFUL FATE - Devil Eyes
TOWNES VAN ZANDT - Highway Kind
MALIGN - Fireborn
VENOM - Don't Burn the Witch

Getting bored at work and cant think of anything good/new/goldies to listen.

So if anyone who uses SPOTIFY had made interesting Playlists, share them here. You know, not just list the Band - Songtitle, but straight link to it.

Like this. I've gathered my fave swedish bm gems;

This (more or less). I love to see these mix tapes with black metal/bestial bullshit. That stuff doesn't belong on a mix tape. I've dubbed black and death metal stuff to mix tapes, and it sounds like shit. It also kills the vibe of anything else that is on the tape. The point is, it doesn't belong there.

The art of making a mix tape is lost in this age unfortunately. You actually have to think about the songs you want to put on there, how they flow together, and if you can fit everything in the time constraints. All that shit being said, I'll have to spend some time thinking about my list and will edit later.
