MUCH. BETTER.

Having seen both bands live, I'd have to disagree. Very different bands, both are among the best death metal in the world today. Impossible to even compare them. The new Swallowed songs are insane. Can't wait for their album, and Grave Upheaval's is highly anticipated as well. Glad that they've been picked up by NWN!, can't think of a better label for them, especially after seeing YK bang his head to them in Oakland last year.

I have been misquoted! But yeah, I cannot wait for the Swallowed album either. It's going to be something else. Along with Moss and the new Grave Upheaval it looks like there will be some crushingly doomy times ahead.

Oops, fixed that misquote shit.

New Moss, though????? Didn't know about that. Also haven't seen any posts about the new Worship album either, even though it's on pre-order already.

THIS IS MONOLITHIC DEATH METAL!

by the way, the 7" repress of Grave Upheaval/Encoffination split will be available soon, together with Lampades/Bleakwood split EP.

Abysmal Sounds will re-release their Demo on 12" LP (in 2013 probably).

This should be sent to press shortly, so shouldn't be too far away.

Got to agree. The sound is muddy and good for it. Having said that, I'm sure Dan would not let anyone down when it comes to getting a suitable sound. This sounds really fucking good!

The low-end energy is insane on that sample.

It will be released on vinyl as a 45rpm 12" via Abysmal Sounds in the near future.
