Lots of French bands did the same, especially the Parisian ones.
An notable point is that the Swedish scene of the 90's, save for a couple of bands, was maybe the less interesting of all, being generic and boring since the mid 90's.

And I shall add abit from the old lyrics. Written by König Asura from well known earliest NSBM-Kult MORKE especially for OI:
Die Juden und Christen, eine Gefahr, weg damit, sie müsen sterben!
(the jews and christians are dangerous. Do away with them, they must die!)
Arische Rasse, eine Bruderschaft! (Aryan Race, a brotherhood)
Juden in die Gaskammer! (Jews into the gas chambers)
and so on and so forth. Due to Eric's masterful screaming, but strong french accent its hard to make out more, but it was definitely clear why these lyrics were never included in the booklet.
Yes, at that time, Osculum Infame was at the top of everything that BM should be: Haunting, melodious, morbid, hateful, dark and definitely illegal WITHOUT ANY influences from other genres. NO death/thrash shit-mixes or anything. Nothing anyone that is only 18 now is able even to understand. The purity of Black Metal. Nowadays it is not even sub standard boring noise, not even similar to what they used to be but rather a nameless pile of shit daring to call itself that old great name OSCULUM INFAME!
I strongly do hope that DTB Rex will reconsider any collaboration with this sad pardody of a band and mockery of a past that the people behind DTB, Osculum Infame and some of us here share. |

| I still have the original letter from König Asura with the typed lyrics from 1995. They weren't included as they break the law in France, Germany and other countries. In the end it was actually a 'zine interview with Vlad Drakul that caused a lot of problems with European distribution. |

I'm going to ask them, as a matter of course. I was not even aware of any change in the lyric until this was pointed out in this thread. 
Anyone who has this CD can say if the "new" lyrics are printed there?
