Don't think that they could really erase their past. In the end it will be like with everyone else. If they bring enough money the Rock Hard league of gentlemen will protect them and suddenly the lyrics were meant the other way or the initial release will be declared a bootleg. Or maybe they did not know what the lyrics meant because they did'nt understand german? Who knows? Ich bin gespannt auf die Ausrede ...

I gave a listen to Dor Nu Fauglith today as we all tend to idealise the past. Some moments are great indeed but some others were terribly cheesy/gay, especially the speech in the intro and the first track. |

We tried to set up a gig for them in Holland after hearing about their return to the scene, but communication was such a pain in the ass that it didn't happen in the end. I don't feel too sorry about that now after hearing the re-recorded 'Kein Entkommen' track.

So you guys have never done/written/recorded/produced something in the past that you're truly ashamed of years later?
Devil's advocate cos tho I'm French I don't give 2 shits about OI, never cared about them never even listened to them so OBJECTIVELY
Maybe they have GENUINELY changed and regret what they wrote. The past can't be undone (same with an old "nice" swastika tatt's) so denying past "mistakes" is something understandable. Which BTW happens a lot with neo-nazis since some of them often completely change their mind/ideology and deny their past as a teenage skinhead and stuff like that.
Rerecording the song is weird though.
If you LOVE SO MUCH the riffs and feeling of the song but reject thoroughly the lyrics (it's one's right as an artist to reject a certain period of one's work, happens with painters and writers too for instance) then I dunno try to insert them in a new composition... Remold it somehow dont just re-record it as it was minus the nasty nasty nasty lyrics.
