Been on a Hellraiser trip..

1-5. I was surprised how 4 and 5, especially, weren't as shit as I was expecting. I will probably watch 5-8 soon

Maniac Cop 2

I've recently watched the first one. Not bad. I think the sequel is considered better by most.

I love Hellbound and Inferno and the first one's pretty great too. I remember seeing Hellraiser 3 when I was 8 after my brother borrowed it from a friend, that sex scene early on really influenced my sex life 6 years later. When I saw that scene I made the decision that I MUST do that. I went right out and bought the vhs at sam goody. The clerk just gave me a look and saw my nine inch nails tshirt and smiled and said fuck it I'll sell you this. I remember they had those Misfits coffin box sets and I wanted that too but it was really expensive and I was too young to afford it. lol, the 90s. I rewatched that movie maybe 6 years ago and thought it was cheeseball as fuck though.

about Maniac Cop, there was a short on youtube for a reimagining I saw (again) 6 years ago it looked really awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAeb2u9jGxQ

I'm rewatching Battlestar Galactica the miniseries. I just watched the show for the first time about a month or two ago, then I watched Caprica. Now I'm watching it again. Really overhyped but a good show regardless, just maybe not as great as some people say. If Joss Whedon hadn't talked about it in the Dollhouse season 1 commentary track I would probably not have watched it.

3 more rough scenes to boot.

Max Hardcore vs Mya Mason. Insanely rough! No mercy on her at all. I thought the girl was going to have a nervous breakdown in the scene.

Princess Donna Gang-Bang. Most brutal gang-bang ever filmed. 7 dudes who slap, choke, d.a., d.v., and destroy this girl.

Cody Lane scene from the Blue Room. I can't tell if that was a scene or a real rape being filmed. Her face is turning red.

Last few weeks:

The Incredible Petrified World
The Black Scorpion
Tarantula
It! The Terror From Beyond Space
In the Land Unknown
Creature from the Black Lagoon

The only lousy one was the Petrified World, the rest was excellent. Black Scorpion is the best one, reminded me of Them!, but the ending was far better, intense stuff.

It! was oddly familiar...

In recent time... maybe more, can't remember...

Casanova '70 (1965)
La decima vittima (1965)
L'eclisse (1962)
Blow-up (1966)
Il deserto rosso (1964)
Le mépris (1963)
Pane e cioccolata (1974)
Mimė metallurgico ferito nell'onore (1972)
Persona (1966)
Nattvardsgästerna (1963)

M. Antonioni's stuff is especially brilliant!

which one the director's cut or the theatrical? personally i prefer the directors cut! i first saw it about a year ago when i bought the bluray, i had only seen the theatrical cut before that, but the directors cut made me really appreciate the movie. most people say they don't like it cause it divulges too much.
