@Ecstatic_Horror: Thanks for the link, I really needed something like that as the ending indeed left me totally mind fucked. I'll have to re-watch it sometime with the second theory in-mind.

No problem. Yeah, I count Kill List to have one of the most confusing endings in recent times.

Check out one of the most bizarre endings to a movie.

That ending is so WEIRD

I watched Enter the Void (Director's cut) last night. The movie is some 150 minutes in length, but there's not really any stagnant moment in it. It's like an ever going flow of dreamy (or nightmarish) visions, flashy and blurry delirium. There's even some Throbbing Gristle in it. My recommendations!

just bought game of thrones season 3 bluray, it's only $31.20 total (with tax included) if you buy it at best buy.com plus they have the special slipcovers, which i had never bothered with before, this time i got a targaryen one.
amashit also has it for $30 but you have to pay postage and tax, ending up about $37.

12 Years A Slave. Really good performance by the main actor.

watched the Carrie remake cause I think chloe grace moretz is super hot, but that movie sucked. even her acting was ridiculous, truly comical in the final scenes. she was better in Hick, even. at least there she seemed believable, in this one you could tell how hard she was trying to act shy - especially in the scene between her and the gym teacher in the locker room where the teacher's trying to tell her she's beautiful.
total shit. the main antagonist bitch was also absolutely hamming up every scene she was in - I don't expect to see her in another movie ever again. i found myself laughing at just about every scene the antagonist and her "mean girl posse crew" were in. all the characterizations were vapid and 1 dimensional. it had high production values, but the cgi was crap. truly weak movie, i cannot believe it wasn't universally panned.

i also got the conjuring from redbox but i will watch that later tonight... i'm not really expecting anything good from that one either. they didn't have riddick at the redbox i went to so maybe when i return these two, they'll have it... and hopefully that one is cheesy fun and not just cheesy.

still looking for kill list, i forgot my login for veehd a few years ago and they won't send me a new password or respond to any emails so...

Mesrine (1984 - the original one, what a killer flick!)

Heroin (70īs italo-euro-crime)

Night of the devils (la noche de los diavolos) - best italian horror movie ever made...! Watched this many times and it is a pleasure any time again. Great atmosphere.

Incubus, William Shatner dominates in a weird satanic murderous goat flick where everyone speaks Esperanto, I do not know what is going on in this movie it is hard to pay attention to, but it is great

Hellraiser 1/2 in the old Anchor Bay tin for super cheap, I may be mistaken but I don't think the official Hellraiser DVD out now is the actual uncut version, I remember Frank's dismemberment at the end being longer than a half second on the old unrated VHS

Memories - followup to Neo Tokyo, like the Japanese Heavy Metal, more stoic, creative, darker, thought provoking fare than the normal Anime fare that gives the form a bad rap, the first story is absolutely killer
